Aircon air flow weak.

My extol aircon air flow is weak at position 2 after 1 hour of driving. Inital air flow is strong. Try to switch to max (position 4), the air flow is still weak. Never try on a sunny day. All this happens in the night ( about 8-11pm). Try CAS air con treatment to clean evaporator to no avail. Anyone out there what's wrong. Thanks.

aircon flow has nothing to do with coolant or thermostat at all, it is more to do with the blower fan motor. it may be that the bearing in the blower fan motor has worn and this is particularly common with DC motors, wearing and carbon buildup. same sh1t happens to alternator.

 

the other possibility is a decrease of power to the fan motor. this may be due to poor wiring, faulty relay contactor.
