My Rav4 after 24 months

Hi Sis & Bro,

 

Here's my ride after 24 months of ownership.

What I did :

 

1. Washing

2. Clay

3. AIO x 1's

4. KSG x 3's

5. Finishkare 1000P paste wax x 2's

6. Finishkare FX100 spray sealant x 2's

7. BONNET ONLY Finishkare Pink wax x 2's

 

I did not do any minor correction of Scratch or Light Swirl and I said minor that mean

it only can see when u examine under strong light and really close. There's almost 90%

free of water spots.

Wash, Clay, AIO, KSG x1 done in 1 session

12 hrs later KSG x 1

12 hrs later KSG X 1

1 week later Finishkare 1000p x 1

24 hrs later Finishkare 1000p x 1

24 hrs later Finishkare FX100 spray sealant x 1

24 hrs later Finishkare FX100 spray sealant x 1

24 hrs later only the bonnet Finishkare Pink Wax x 1

24 hrs later last layer of Pink Wax.

 

Cannot do the whole process in one day due to the curing time between

layers. But the result is acceptable.

 

All the product I used are very very easy to use just wipe on wipe off no drying

time before buff. In between layering I just use a damp WW cloth to clean before

apply the product. Therefore, each layer I only spent 30 min. to finish it.

That's a lot of work involve and took you almost 2 weeks to finish the whole process . But worth all the effort, the paint looks wet and .

 

You might want to consider letting 1000P and pink wax to haze for 15-20mins before buffing off, that's what suggested by the Tech Support at FK1 .

i'm curious to know after applying kSG you wax your car, then sealant again then wax

I though sealant can't works with wax? ie sealant can't bond with wax

yep thought so too... i use KSG too, so applying 3 layers at one go doesn't make sense. so we're on the same level in this aspect...

Bro ROOT,

 

This is why I all the way brought the Finishkare products from USA.

Their product can layering over each other without any problem.

There is no bonding issue between all their product u can use sealant over wax or

the other way, durablity is not know yet. But they claimed it can last for 3-4 weeks.

 

Anyway, I will layer the FX100 or Pink Wax weekly.
