Carmaniac Neutral Newbie May 30, 2006 Share May 30, 2006 concerning conditions for test drives... 1) Is there an age limit? (as in the number of years you have been driving) 2) Do you have to pay? ↡ Advertisement
Nissy Neutral Newbie May 30, 2006 Share May 30, 2006 No age limit if you have a valid driving license (overseas driving license also accepted) but for some cars like lancer Evo, subaru WRX etc, the company may want the test driver to have atleast three to five years of experience no need to pay for test drive
Twixified Neutral Newbie May 30, 2006 Share May 30, 2006 The golf GTI has an age limit of at least 28yrs old for a testdrive.

(as in the number of years you have been driving) 2) Do you have to pay? don't need to pay, just drive an Ferrari to the showroom if u going to test drive a lambo --
Voxster Neutral Newbie May 31, 2006 Share May 31, 2006 VW told me i have to confirm and sign first before i can test drive the Golf GTi. What a joke! Well i walked out immediately and took my biz to other showrooms. There are higher spec cars that do not have this ridiculous condition.
Voxster Neutral Newbie May 31, 2006 Share May 31, 2006 Not necessary to look rich. It's how u carry yourself that matters. Ask the right questions. I always go for test drives in my weekend attire of tshirt and bemudas and slippers. If the SE looks down on u, drop him/her. Look for another SE who is desperate for your biz. U can always go another day when another sales team is on duty, or go to another showroom if they have one. For me, i call up first to screen the SE. If no gd, i call another SE to make appointment for test drive. Remember it;s a buyer's mkt now. U pay, u say.
Voxster Neutral Newbie May 31, 2006 Share May 31, 2006 Dunno abt the rex, but i have test driven the Legacy GT - more powerful than rex... no qns asked.
Patlyesp Neutral Newbie May 31, 2006 Share May 31, 2006 For Legacy GT, it is just a sub-turbo, where WRX actually equipped with a full-turbo. Hence, Legacy GT test drive does not require special clearance. Don't test drive me if I am wrong.
Jermy Clutched May 31, 2006 Share May 31, 2006 Quote To test drive WRX, you need to have 50% NCD dun need, i test drove the STi & i had 0% NCD! 10% on my next renewal though..
Jermy Clutched May 31, 2006 Share May 31, 2006 Legacy GT is 245bhp...definitely more horses than stock rex..
Slayer Clutched May 31, 2006 Share May 31, 2006 it'd be good if u can edit your post about the turbo of the legacy gt. (so that it doesn't midled other readers). thanks
