concerning conditions for test drives...

1) Is there an age limit? (as in the number of years you have been driving)

2) Do you have to pay?

No age limit if you have a valid driving license (overseas driving license also accepted)

but for some cars like lancer Evo, subaru WRX etc, the company may want the test driver to have atleast three to five years of experience

no need to pay for test drive

VW told me i have to confirm and sign first before i can test drive the Golf GTi. What a joke! Well i walked out immediately and took my biz to other showrooms. There are higher spec cars that do not have this ridiculous condition.

Not necessary to look rich. It's how u carry yourself that matters. Ask the right questions. I always go for test drives in my weekend attire of tshirt and bemudas and slippers.

If the SE looks down on u, drop him/her. Look for another SE who is desperate for your biz. U can always go another day when another sales team is on duty, or go to another showroom if they have one.

For me, i call up first to screen the SE. If no gd, i call another SE to make appointment for test drive. Remember it;s a buyer's mkt now. U pay, u say. [:)]

For Legacy GT, it is just a sub-turbo, where WRX actually equipped with a full-turbo. Hence, Legacy GT test drive does not require special clearance.

Don't test drive me if I am wrong. [sweatdrop]

To test drive WRX, you need to have 50% NCD
