Kazuo Neutral Newbie May 22, 2006 Share May 22, 2006 Wat abt 185/XX/R14? Anyway, does comfort tires able to neutralise the effect of lowering suspension and vice vesa... low profile tires to neutralise the increase in height of suspension?
Toalson 1st Gear May 22, 2006 Share May 22, 2006 U referring to 185/60R14 I presume. Comfort bias low profile tires cant so-call "neutralise" the effect of lowering. Lowering usually result in slightly harsher ride but improve handling. N for better handling, these tires oso have to hard side walls if not the handling benefits might not be maximised. Its quite the same principle of FC & power. U cant really have the best of both world. I could be wrong based on my limited knowledge. ↡ Advertisement
