Spotted this unique Taxi in town

Anyway this is not the 1st time i've seen these taxis ard...saw one wif bonnet scoop and one wif gages and spoiler like the one in ur pic...

 

Asked my friend who is working in Boneo motors...some of these red taxis r actually private...yeah...private...tts why they can do wadever they like on the car...emm..taxi...

 

a friend of mine claim to see one wif wheel spinner...but i tot its illegal in sg?

 

Anyway...hope there is no extra charges for these kinda taxis.....

I've always thought that Taxis have to be left in original condition as they are all rented from Taxi Companys. This is interesting.

Yea, nothing new...these transcabs are privately owned.

And i've also seen some with bodykits, spoilers, dual exhaust, spinners and bonnet scoop...some even got good ICE.....

and no, they are not more expensive to flag down, same price...although i not so sure i want to take one :)

i took a picture of this cab also..... at bishan that temple, when i sent my mother there to pay respect to my late father,

If I'm not wrong.. Only Taxi in this specific company, Red and WHite colour one can be modded. SO far, Comfort/City/SMRT no modded ones.. Saw 3 types all RedWHite one.. Haha..

Nothing new lah..should see a dark blue getz with twin fake exhaust sticking at the side of the front fender with all the weird lightings in the cabin..owner must be thinking he's driving a space ship..I believe he posted his pictures up quite sometimes ago.....
