As my car had an accident so in the workshop for repair and I choose to take premier taxi cos I hope to get a chance to sit on a Kia Magentis Taxi but my luck is not there.

 

They have only around 20 Kia Magentis Taxi for this moment then I was chatting with the taxi driver along my journey. He told me that their Skoda taxi quite problematic no doubt it is very powerful and initially they wanted to bring in the Hyundai Sonata like what Comfort do, their company got to know that Sonata got some issues and smaller in the interior compared to the Kia Magentis.

 

So their company bring in the Kia Magentis instead and they will stop bringing the Skoda but Kia Magentis will be a better choice.

 

Anyway, just to share what I heard about from the Taxi driver.

As what I know...Skoda Hav a Very Good FC.Than Kia Magentis and Hyundai Sonata.

That is for sure as the Skoda is a 2.7 turbo engine compared to the Magentis and Sonata, only using a 2.0 turbo engine.

 

But comparing in maintenance cost in the long run, of course Magentis and Sonata will be cheaper to maintain.

Ya, that is why they choose the Magentis over the Skoda and heard the stock tyres that comes with Skoda got some problem.

Wow, this is new. Guess they want to try out different models before deciding on one or they might want to give their customers different choices.

yes, they're getting the Azera, but it will be in "WHITE". They decided it is more cost effective to get the Azera instead of the Merc E-class.

Meter Started at $2.70..For Sonata.........Maybe......Azera @ $3.00.......

For the Magentis, the meter starting still same as the crown so for Azera, probably it will be replacing the Skoda, cheaper maintenance for their company in the long run.

 

So if you take Premier taxi and happen to board a Kia Magentis, you will enjoy the comfort throughout the whole journey and meter starting still same as the Toyota Crown!
