Hi may I know if i use those quick fix for punctured tyre, those in the form of a can and u pump stuff into the tyre one, is it is just a temporary fix? Will this tyre be repairable after that or once you pump the stuff in, it's gone-f%#ked?

This is to mean that the tyre still need to be send for repair. But can the tyre shop repair the puncture when it is already sealed from the sealant? How are they going to know where is the damage if there is no leak, unless the nail or whatever still there.

Form what I gathered, correct me if I am wrong. That the damaged tyre can be sealed/repair for maximum 2X using the liquid sealant. That is to mean the tyre need to be replaced should it get punctured for the third time (should be beri unlucky man [laugh][laugh] ).

I am also interested in knowing as I am considering driving w/o the spare tyre and standby the bottle of sealant. To reduce the car weight and improve FC to save on petrol ....

Let me help to reply to your question:

Gad: I didn't remove mine. After I pump in the chemical, went straight to a tyre shop. A friend of mine, pump in the chemical, and forgot to fix the puncture until 1 weeks later, after coming back from Malacca.wink.gif

After I had the chance to use the can (after keeping for almost 2 years), I went to buy another 2 cans for standby.. wink.gif

Gad: Only thing I know is... The mechanic had a hard time trying to repair the puncture.

Thanks,.... I guess you gave a good reply. I will go and buy a can and keep my spare tyre at home [;)] .

Btw the recent report the pressurised can explode in the car. Will this happen to the can? I guess the can is save since you kept it in your boot for 2 years..

Real impressive still can work after 2 years. Any expiry period?.

Depend on the size of injury and location. If the injury is just pin hole - no problem even if your tyre have suffer few puncture. The chance of the next pucture happen at the same spot of the previous injury is very very slim. If this happen you are a very lucky man, pl bet heavily on yr car lience plate no.

as far as I'm concerned, it didn't explode in my car boot. But may varies from car to car. Furthermore, my car is parked in shaded area most of the time.

I am impressed too that it is still working after 2 years. thumbsup.gif
