Mmm maybe? I dun see myself as frequenting the area much but I do go past there quite often.

 

Well there is this old alfa (similar to yours, but sorry dunno much abt older models) which is always at bras basah carpark since years ago..... tried to take pictures but the carpark is too dark....

 

Hey I have always toyed w the idea of getting an old spider.... could u advise on reworking the parts based on your experience? Thanx! :))

Well it depends on how well the previous owner maintained the car of course. Some of them don't use proper spares when reworking their cars so like mine I had to do a top engine overhaul. Also did an overhaul of my gearbox as the sychros were pretty much gone. Wheel hub bearings replaced too. The engine is really solid though. Was told that when mine was opened up, oversized bearings were not required as there was virtually no wear on the inside.

 

Most importantly though when you wanna rework an old alfa you should find a workshop which really knows how to do alfas as their spares are kinda irregular sized at times and not all standard parts available today match properly. For example, the rim mounting dimensions for mine are a size unheard of by quite a few. I can recommend an alfa specialist though if you need. Hope I'm not infringing the forum rules of advertising though :s

Wow majority bro here all use either conti or Jap cars,very nice indeed.Mine only a humble Malaysian 08 Saga 1.3 [smallcry] with 15inch 8 spoke alloy...
