Looks pretty ok but reviews that I have read from AutoCar Asean didn't have a really good write-out on it. But like all things, we must try with an open eye to appreciate.

Actually, ABS or non ABS doesn't really matter to me [;)]

You'll be surprised by the number of drivers who are unsure how to activate the ABS in their cars ... [sweatdrop]

Since we are on this topic of ABS, just to reinforce the idea that ABS is still not a replacement for keeping a safe following distance especially in wet weather. And the correct way to activate your ABS is to press the brake all the way, u should be able to feel the pulses as the ABS is activated.

Best way is to find a lonely road and try it to get a feel of ABS in action.

Agree with you on that bro! [sweatdrop]

Drivers should always check their ABS function routinely to ensure that it's operating [;)]

Since we in this topic, essentially there are 4 braking patterns:

(1) Progressive braking (normal slow braking when reaching obstacle or traffic light)

(2) Cadence braking (manual ABS - ie tap the brake as many times as you can)

(3) Threshold braking (emergency braking, but hold at 90% to prevent skids)

(4) ABS braking (OEM for cars with ABS)

Hey, you should try if your ABS is working too [thumbsup]

I have tried and proved that ABS is a life saver on a wet morning at TPE. Since then, I appreciate ABS more. But usually when I drive, I do engine braking cuz me driving manual car.

Thank u! Thank u!

But the catch about using engine brake is my clutch will wear out faster I think. Dunno much about the fuel consumption part though.

Unfortunately not yet. But I did see the car in the flesh and it looks pretty good really.

One of my friend thinking of buying a new car soon so maybe I will bring him and test drive since he is also considering Hyundai Getz.

I saw a white one this morning. It looks like baby merc... My friend also thinking to get one too. He had wanted City initially, but the price of that is too high now, so he's thinking of Kalos. He don't want Getz.

I am trying to see if there's any unbias reports here thumbsup.gif
