Tyre width odd ?

Hi,

Currently I'm at 195/65 R15 (it's 6JJ so 6" rim width)...Am I correct?

195mm convert to inch is 7.78".

 

If I keep my 15" rimI upgrade to 205mm which is 8.07 inch....will my tyre+rim combination look swollen.

Or should I upgrade to R16 (cos 16" rims normally comes with 7" or 7.5" width).

 

Anyone with 205mm with 15" rims ,pls help comments...Thks/

should use 205 55 15

 

but sad to say not so much of this sizes

 

and the width of the rim should be at least 7j

Too bad mine is 6J, so 205mm tyre is out for me.

My wheels will look like swollen thumbs!
