Help needed! I have used the ways to remove but it didn't help. Firstly, the floss keep breaking even when I use 2 strings together. Next the double-sided tape sticks like darn gum after I have remove...now I can't remove the unsightly "residue". I have tried to wax it off, use WD40..but of no use. Could anyone help?

which emblem? the NISSAN one or the word Sunny?

V Good question. Can also ask front or back? At the back on the left side got SUNNY and below it Limited Edition. On the right side got SUPPER SALOON, below it CCVT and below that E-Throttle.

Use your finger nails to scrape of as much of the double-sided tape as possible, then use a light polish to remove the remaining glue on the paint. I've done it on my previous car and current car, works perfectly all the time.

[sweatdrop] Eeh.. so the letters and emblem already removed successfully? Just the black sticky glue remaining..

You need patience, try lighter fluid, but make sure to wash out properly immediately after.

Still needs a lot of buffing! If you plan to go for professional detailing sometime soon, then leave it to them lah..

What I do after removing the Emblem is to hand apply some AutoGlym Rasin Polish over the left over gum, and use fingernails slowly peel it off. I took almost 2 hours to remove all off. By the way, I remove the Emblems on day 1 after collected my car. Some of the Emblems are locally pasted while the rest are factory pasted. Why I say so is that I saw new Sunnys being delivered to TC on carrier trucks, and happened to see (if I still remember correctly) only the LOGO, "Sunny" & "EX_Saloon" is on the boot.

By the way, you driving a Sunny too? If not, forget me mentioned about the Sunny Emblems pasted locally or factory.

Bro, why do you want to remove it? [hur] It still a sunny even after you removed it. [:p]

The font is much better looking now compared to the pre-FL ones.

Nope, I hijacked this thread to ask for help! [laugh]

Well, I used to drive a Sunny Lex Edition before the face-lifted version but the FC was really getting onto my nerves so I have switched to a Honda.

Hows your FC for ur Sunny?

well, not because of cosmetic. i like the clean look without emblems & it's much easlier to wash, polish, sealant & wax the boot without having to spend extra time on grooves.

i'm driving a less then 10000km (still breaking in) FL Sunny EX manual. current consumption is between 11.5 to 12km/ltr. hopefully can get slightly improved consumption after 10000km servicing.

Hi, heard that the pre-FL auto sunny FC is pretty bad. [shakehead]

But it seems like the FL ones have improved quite a bit. [thumbsup]

I'm getting 12km/l on average for my FL sunny AT. [;)]

Sunray .. what's ur milage & driving habit/pattern like? habit/pattern as in % of HW, average max speed, each gear change @ wat RPM etc.

Light foot. 70%HW/30%city. Max speed 90-100km/h. Gear change at 2-2.2k rpm.

At this gear change, may be a bit slow at traffic lights but who cares as long as don't start on lane 1 at traffic lights. [sly] Most importantly, my pocket must be happy. [;)]

I can get as worst as 11km/l but at times. [shakehead] I can also get as good as 13km/l. [lipsrsealed]

Sunny a "drinker"? May be not to me. [:p][laugh]

Btw, my sunny got no VVTi. [lipsrsealed][laugh][laugh]
