DarkLord 1st Gear April 18, 2006 Share April 18, 2006 I was on Precedas before I changed to Goodyear Eagle F1s. Precedas are more quiet than F1s. Grip would be in F1's favour. Price wise.. Precedas - $105, F1s - $80..
Elfenstar 3rd Gear April 18, 2006 Share April 18, 2006 (edited) dunno almost put them on 2 weeks ago, but decided to try the G-force sport. A bit lacking in the smaller profiles but are brilliant in the 195/60R15 size. Almost as good as the ES100's. I have had not wet or dry traction issues and (as i chucked them at the front) I seem to be able to get more oversteer earlier. anyway the ES100's are still listed in yoko's catalogue Edited April 18, 2006 by Elfenstar

Elfenstar 3rd Gear April 18, 2006 Share April 18, 2006 Shortlist in your sizes... I know you wnat performance, but you want comfort (from your sidewall ques) so the comfy tires with good performance are in the list. Don't expect much comfort out of the performance tires though 55's -BF Goodrich Sport -Bridgestone G3 -Bridgestone RE010 -Dunlop SP9000 -Dunlop LM901 -Yokohama A Drive -Yokohama C Drive -Yokohama AVS ES100 60's -BF Goodrich Sport -Bridgestone G3 -Yokohama C drives -Yokohama AVS ES100

Elfenstar 3rd Gear April 18, 2006 Share April 18, 2006 (edited) they're comfort tires with performance... unfortunately the performance is the same as some more comfy tires (e.g. A drives) so i didn't put them in the list. Unless you talking abt the m/cycle pirelli dragons then they are Edited April 18, 2006 by Elfenstar
Aimnfire 4th Gear April 18, 2006 Share April 18, 2006 thats why i trust pirelli due to riding bike last time the performance was superb compare to bridgestone battalax so i tot the compound for car tyre should be about the same
AngelEye Neutral Newbie April 18, 2006 Share April 18, 2006 mine more choice, 195/50/15 or 195/55/15 plenty of choice~
Elfenstar 3rd Gear April 18, 2006 Share April 18, 2006 (edited) Pirellis performance range (p-zero's) for cars are really good. Unfortunately their sizes are mostly for larger diameter wheels. Their comfy tires arent as comfy for the same level of performance as other brands though i have to admit, they do last longer. Also for long distance touring i still prefer them over most other tires as they seem more puncture resistant. Elfenstar 3rd Gear April 18, 2006 Share April 18, 2006 (edited) 195/50R15... imho best size for a car thats up to the size of a civic.... also a huge variety of choices of tires without them getting to exp. next would be XXX/50(or 55)R16 for cars like the camry etc. Edited April 18, 2006 by Elfenstar
