Toalson 1st Gear April 19, 2006 Share April 19, 2006 Quote Sorie I noticed u use wax before u apply the sealant. Tot its the other way round. Anyway I like the color of ur ride n the work is very nice, esp those shots of the sky. Hi Toalson, Thanks for the nice comments. I always thought the Sealant should be used as a LSP. Thanks for highlighting to me i should use the wax after the sealant instead. Cheers dude. I was basically experimenting and not too sure which product should go ahead first etc. We all learn haha. We do learn something new everyday. I too learn through guidance. If not mistaken, u'll get a even better shine if u reverse ur process. However if u wan greater durability, try n apply wax after 24hrs after applying the sealant. ↡ Advertisement

" By the time 24 hours passed, lots of dirt would have accumulated. Doest that mean we have to wash the car again? with soap or just water? Toalson 1st Gear April 19, 2006 Share April 19, 2006 If u jst park in a sheltered area, use QD can also then proceed with wax or sealant or just use wash with a little shampoo or just plain water to wash. The only risk is, scratching of car due to dirt. But if u had driven out. then a simple wash is enuff.

Meguiar's just doesn't market its consumer synthetic products as sealants.

Fazer8511 Clutched April 22, 2006 Author Share April 22, 2006 You can get the replacement pads from Homefix DIY or go down to Homely and see if there are alternative pads available. Did you make sure the car surface was clean and well prepared before you start using the polisher? Also make sure the pads you are using are clean and change them frequently. I suggest you go over the affected areas with some swirl remover again.
Fazer8511 Clutched April 22, 2006 Author Share April 22, 2006 Yes i heard about #21/ Unfortunately they are only available in the 64oz. size and costs about $85. I will wait for my JWS to arrive.

Kenlcs Neutral Newbie April 25, 2006 Share April 25, 2006 I think before you use machine, - make sure surface is wash properly - clay if needed - also use good pad - don't apply too much pressure on the mchine - apply enough product to the pad (but not too much) eg: some method is apply product circle or a "x" on the pad. - use the correct speed, since I still new the max speed I use is 4-5 for polish
