Fazer8511 Clutched April 17, 2006 Share April 17, 2006 HI Guys and Gals.. Just bought the B and D KP600 RO polisher last week and finally got to use it over the weekend. Took me at least 6 hours and need a massage now, haha. I will try and briefly describe the steps i took. 1. Shampoo with Megs Gold class shampoo 2. Claybar 3. Turtlewax swirl remover and buff off with KP600 4. Megs NXT Tech Wax and buff off with KP600 5. Megs #20 Polymer Sealant. Applied with foam applicator and wipe off with microfibre towel. I like this product as it leaves a nice glossy look on the surface although i am told the #21 is better. You can view the product on this URL. Just copy and paste. http://www.meguiars.com/?pro-liquid-car-wa...Polymer-Sealant 6. Finished off with NXT Speed Detailer for that extra glossy look.Spray on and wipe off. I am not sure if i should be putting any products over the #20 but i always liked the shine and gloss from the NXT Speed detailer. Any bros here can advice if my steps were right or wrong considering the products that i have. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here are the photos i stored in webshots. Wish i had a better camera. http://community.webshots.com/myphotos?act...security=FCnAaj ↡ Advertisement

Civicmind Neutral Newbie April 18, 2006 Share April 18, 2006 Hi KENLCS, Yes you need to apply thin, but you do not need wait till it dry up (harden, if apply thickly). I'm using elbow power, in fact I find it very easy to apply and buff.

Thanks for highlighting to me i should use the wax after the sealant instead. Cheers dude. I was basically experimenting and not too sure which product should go ahead first etc. We all learn haha. Hi Civicmind, Sorry bro..what do you mean by changing the power socket? The KP600 comes with a 2pin plug. I just use the plastic 2 pin adaptor. No need to change the power socket. I love the #20 cos after polishing it gives off a nice shine. When i was polishing manually by hand, i notice that it leaves behind some (strips or streaks). However after using the KP600, i find that its much easier to get rid of the streaking. Just be patient and go over the uneven streak areas a few times and the finish will be streak free and very smooth.

Fazer8511 Clutched April 18, 2006 Author Share April 18, 2006 They do sell the extra applicator pads but you can only use it once or twice and then have to discard. Need to buy extra applicator as well as polishing pads. ↡ Advertisement
