Neutral Newbie

Just changed mine on 4ht June.

225/45ZR17

Found it was very noisy when travel speed is below 80km, if its above 80km seems to be quieter. Is it normal? [dizzy]

Mine lasted about 35k with 5-6 trips up NSH, 3 x Melaka and 3 x KL. Almost tracked the car but didn't have chance. If I did, then it might last about 25k or so.

Camber set up was rather agressive also.

that's very good wear rate for high perf tyre considering you did NSHW runs assuming going quite quickly and also with agressive camber.

Yeap, 1 - 1.5 degree front and 2 degree rear. Got to check the alignment sheet to confirm. high speed.. err.. hehe

Melaka in just over an hour and KL in about 2:30-2:45h of course in the very early morning :D

Just asking if anyone knows. Would the silica sticking properties wear off the tyres faster? I just changed to K104. Very slick. I'm loving it. But now worry how long it will last me. My previous Kumho Ecsta only last me a year... Thanks

lookin at the utqg (threadwear) of each tyre is the most accurate (but subjective) way

also depend on driving style and vehicle weight

my opinion V8RS would be an all round saloon street tyre, good overall grip in wet & dry, quite & comfy.

K104 is more wet biased. good dry grip, great wet grip. If you are doing lots of HSHW runs for work, this is the tyre. Good wear rate and handles all weather
