Bro,

7 secs shaved off is phenomenal [thumbsup][thumbsup][thumbsup] Congrads

Of the tyres U listed, R-S2 beats them hands down.

1 of the reason is most street tyres tend to get greasy after 2-3 laps and start sliding. R-S2 love the heat and the hotter they are, the better they perform.

R-s2 is used in SCCA, they had to water down the AD07 & Azenis but not the R-S2. It just loved the heat. Very suitable for Sepang when the track temp can exceed 50C.

Many bros are switching to R-S2 for track use.

The noise is there.

Its much noiser then Falken ZE326, Yoho ES100,

GD F1 (I have used these before switching to RS-2).

But the grip and confidence is better then the above

IMHO.

R-S2 has less noise than ; F1 (GS-D2), S-02, FK451, AD07. Not quietiest of tyres but acceptable for UHPT with high dry grip

Hi, Robert. I got the tire 2 days ago. As its still in scrub in period, still can't tell. But of course I can feel its better than the Y. A300 series which I used previously. Now that its almost raining daily, I do need a better grip tire in rainy season. I would say its relatively cheap to get this kind of tire. No.5 posistion some more.

Once they are scrub in, you'll love them when they come up to their operating temperature. A track junkie who uses this on Sepang once shared with me. Once they warm up they are sticky.

Yes after driving thru puddles of water at 80-90km/hrm I realised that this car can still hold onto the ground without "drifting" Very well pleased with this tire... it can disperse water out easily.

I used Dunlop Sport Maxx, Ze326, Pirelli Dragon, also dun have this kind of perf yet.

heh heh R-S2 is definitely much better than those that U have mentioned in both wet & dry. Never regretted using them

I've used the German made GS-D3, they are very gd in the wet. Wet is actually better than dry cos the dry grip is vague. The Thai made losses in terms of grip and noisier.

R-S2 beats GS-D3 hands down in the dry, dry grip is prob one of the highest town once up to operating temp. It loves the heat, great highway and track tyre. Wet is more than decent for a street tyre and easily exceed speed limit in wet, water dispersion is good. Overall R-S2 is a better bet than GS-D3 unless you live in Seattle or UK where it wet more often than dry

do you have any recommendation that has great grip wet/dry(of course not as good as R-S2 [laugh]) without the extreme tire roar of R-S2, and without the vague feeling that comes with GY F1 GS-D3? [:p]

revspec gives me good grip in the dry, so-so in the wet, and a vague feeling which i dislike the most [:/]

was thinking of the new preceda [confused]
