Yc86 Clutched April 8, 2006 Share April 8, 2006 full bucket seats are not v. comfy for everyday driving.. cos it's very hard, cushion is very hard, and the back is almost straight.. more popular brands like sparco, recaro, bride.. cost over 1k each. can try the m'sia one.. SSCUS? or those unbranded types also have. saw something like RM1200 for a pair in JB for everyday driving, better to get those reclinable types.. gives great support, can can tilt back to relax. also can accomodate 3 or 4 pt seat belts for track use. though these are not FIA approved if i'm not wrong.. Turbonetics 2nd Gear April 11, 2006 Share April 11, 2006 hi, would like to find out which full bucket seat do you like and why? thinking of getting 1 but would like to find out what are the other options available.. sorry not doing a poll cos i dont really know what are the available full bucket seats.. thanks alot. popular brand are like recaro,sparco,momo,bride...etc... but take note that i heard alot of ppl complain after getting a full bucket seats... what is ur driving positon currently???is it up right or lie back type??? if its upright, then shd eb no problem...cos full bucket seats are meant for racing...and teh position is straight one... but if u r those lie back type or relax mode type,u will definitely not used to it... maybe can get those semi-bucket which still can be reclined and also have the wrapped feeling when u do cornering... Tanzy Clutched April 18, 2006 Share April 18, 2006 Full bucket very hard to get in and out. I ended up with a detachable steering wheel so I can get out without scratching the seat. I don't even have a full bucket. I use a reclinable bucket which is not FIA approve but who the hell cares unless you are interested in joining SMSA events. The Drift King Tsuchiya himself prefers the non-FIA reclinable bucket. They are also extremely uncomfortable for long journeys because there is little padding and no springs. Shocks and jolts come right up your spine. I like Bride. Why? The carbon kevlar is very light and it's damn BLING! ↡ Advertisement
