Elkh Neutral Newbie April 4, 2006 Share April 4, 2006 Am currently driving a Lancer... Like to know the need to do engine oil flush and ATF flush at 40KM servicing... understand that flushing will clear out the old oil and fluid, so that the new oil or fluid will run in the engine and auto-transmission... If you ask any workshop, believe they will tell u that flushing is better than replacing the oil and fluid.... of cause flushing will be more expensive so is flushing really required at 40k servicing? ↡ Advertisement

Mzrmazda3 6th Gear April 5, 2006 Share April 5, 2006 IMHO, you should flush your ATF at 40K For engine oil flush, there are many brands in the market Jus buy and pour it into your engine 1 day or few hours before your oil change (Depending on the instuctions given)
