I have changed my car battery. It cost me $97. Wonder whether it is cheap or not? Not at Servo though. Happens that I was at Stamford tyres sale. So might as well change it. However, after changing it. I can feel better response to the car. Does the battery got something to do with it?

 

Do you have any advise on how to reduce fuel consumption? I have fitted K&N filter, two cylones, grounding wires and the fuel killer -E6??

The brand is GP.

 

As for those gadgets, it does improve my pick up but FC goes up as well. Tremendously.

After the battery switch I heard that for Octavia, it will further required the VAG tool to perform some configuration change. The total cost will be about 180 SGD.

IMHO, dun think these gadget help much. Still rely on right-foot.

 

If you can tahan without Air-con, that help alot too, easily 20% better.
