Stress Neutral Newbie March 29, 2006 Share March 29, 2006 What happened? Cigarette lighter seldom spoil. Most likely it is the fuse that has blown off. Just go to any car workshop and they can replace the fuse for u. If DIY, check your car manual on the fuse voltage and then go to DIY shop to buy the fuse and replace it. Owen_fan 2nd Gear March 29, 2006 Author Share March 29, 2006 This morning using car vaccum to clean my ride & wanted to pull out the connection from the cigarette lighter socket but it can't so I applied more force to pull it out & in the end the socket came off (but the wire still stay in connection). Try to push the socket back to the orginal poistion, but now can't use it as when I tried to plug the vaccum back to it, it stuck & need to force it out & the socket came off again. Mavvy Clutched March 29, 2006 Share March 29, 2006 i dunno where to repair..hahaha.. but you can buy a splitter next time... and leave it there.. so you risk spoiling your splitter rather than actual cig lighter socket...
