Dkchong Neutral Newbie March 24, 2006 Share March 24, 2006 It sounds like u have your child lock enabled...If that is the case, not to worry, most people who owns a car with children would know how to fix the problem...

Parkingidiot 1st Gear March 24, 2006 Share March 24, 2006 yeah... i had to activate my child lock, when my 2 year old kid figured out how to loosen the straps from his child seat, unlock the door lock, and open the door!! Scared the hell out of me, so i have permanently enabled the child lock on his side of the passenger seats! I think i have to get a chain and a Yale lock to lock up my little harry houdini, soon. Helix Neutral Newbie March 24, 2006 Share March 24, 2006 99% is the child lock...it's surprisingly easy to activate the child lock without you or the passenger ever knowing when and how they did it. Dkchong Neutral Newbie March 24, 2006 Share March 24, 2006 I had the same problem as you with my 2 year old boy ..which is why now my child lock is enabled..I'm just worried that one fine day he will learn how to disable the child lock by himself...If that happen then I'll have to buy a yale lock and install a latch at the outside of passesger seat..Just like the one use by Mr Bean... Transformers Neutral Newbie August 7, 2007 Share August 7, 2007 Yup useful for those with children, but I feel the controls should be at the driver's side so that there is no accidental activating of the child lock & you may think that the door lock is spolit ↡ Advertisement
