It sounds like u have your child lock enabled...If that is the case, not to worry, most people who owns a car with children would know how to fix the problem...

yeah... i had to activate my child lock, when my 2 year old kid figured out how to loosen the straps from his child seat, unlock the door lock, and open the door!! Scared the hell out of me, so i have permanently enabled the child lock on his side of the passenger seats! I think i have to get a chain and a Yale lock to lock up my little harry houdini, soon.

99% is the child lock...it's surprisingly easy to activate the child lock without you or the passenger ever knowing when and how they did it.

I had the same problem as you with my 2 year old boy dizzy.gif ..which is why now my child lock is enabled..I'm just worried that one fine day he will learn how to disable the child lock by himselfsweatdrop.gif...If that happen then I'll have to buy a yale lock and install a latch at the outside of passesger seat..Just like the one use by Mr Beanlaugh.gif...

Yup useful for those with children, but I feel the controls should be at the driver's side so that there is no accidental activating of the child lock & you may think that the door lock is spolit [blush]
