Matrix is the most spacious 1.6l in the mkt.

The only set back is the high fuel consumption of <10km/l for auto.

Once I saw at least 5 Matrix-es travelling together, all malay drivers and all the cars with MR LAVITA stickers pasted all over the body. Wonder who this Mr Lavita is and what his name is doing on these Matrix-es [confused]

Interested to know why people buy the Matrix. IMO its slow, fugly (prob one of the most awkward looking cars on the road right now) and has a big appetite for fuel. And whats up with naming the 1.8 the "REVO"?? Is it after the movie Matrix Revolutions?? And if so why?? Better cars out there for the money IMHO! [sly]

It's actually quite a decent roomy car to sit in, but that's its only saving grace. [laugh] Also, even with its dwindling numbers, the number of complaints about reckless Matrix drivers actually seems to be increasing. Not exactly good for its image. Maybe those fellas really think the car is from the Matrix [hur]

I shall not comment on design, spacious or lack of it as it is to each his own. I will just comment 2 cents on the engine/weight ratio and its performance. Before the engine was run in, it was drinking about 7 km per litre, after run in, it averages 8.5 to 9km per litre. Coupled with that it has very poor power, only 95BHP. If u start from the line at the turn of green at traffic junction, these cars can be faster than you up to 200m.

Toyota Hiace, Renault kangoo, Kia picanto, hyundai getz, just to name a few.

Also I tried once going round a corner at abt 50/60 km/h, the car actually skidded a bit. Its suspension over road humps is also bad. If u looked at the stock wheels, they r very small and narrow. i dont feel safe driving it. When I bot mine, there were so many of the roads.

Now do u see as many? Why do people all start selling off, check it out.
