No CAI for me yet.

Just a GREEN drop in. CA gave me a free bonnet insulator...but guess only effective for heat.

Just wondering... why do you want to chip your car?

Is the current power output now not enough for you?

With 1 added modification comes another to supplement it... it's a never ending process and worse, it might screw things up.

If it doesn't screw up something, you might lose something in the process as well...

Do think twice before going onto the path of screwing around with the car [;)]

Yes, we can go on and on about 101 things you can do to your ride, from stage 1 to stage 5 etc.

But what are your needs exactly?

Perhaps we could discuss this in detail, not trying to be a killjoy here [;)]

Totally agree with U...Big heahache is when things go Wrong after all these Extras added.

Partially agree with you [;)] ...

Only do the least minimum extras' that will also maintain the same wear and tear standard with the stock condition [:)] ...

hi guys,

i would like to ask....

mine is a octavia tour less then 1 year old.

but when i brake hard i can feel the whole car was shaking,

i suspect that is due to the rear drum brake,

should i change the rear brake to disk?

then should i should i just change the 2 rear brakes

or should i change all 4......

regrading the ECU,

is it wise to change it since my car is less then a year.....

then would like to know wat to look for when shopping for ECU....

Well, it your ride still under warranty [confused] ...

IF so, it's best to go back CA for a check.

If not, you can drop by Servotronic Motor Workshop located at Sin Ming Drive, Sin Ming Autocare Centre #02-14/15 and look for Dennis or Philip. They are the VAG specialist [thumbsup] ...

By the way, does the steering wheel vibrate too? It maybe due to the front disc rotor which is worp and may require to skim it or replacement.

the steering wheel is fine....

it is just when i depress my brakes too hard, the vibration comes....

and is not the normal 'tremble'

i send my car to ca for service and they found that the rear brakes was inbalance by 10%....

then they adjusted it to 7%, which dun really make me feel good about it....
