Orpheus Neutral Newbie March 14, 2006 Share March 14, 2006 (edited) Not advisible. 195/50/16 is closer to 185/65/14. 195/55/16 is way out (+4%). But wait! your 205/55/16 is even more way out (+6%)? Is it OK? Edited March 14, 2006 by Orpheus
Apollo 1st Gear March 14, 2006 Share March 14, 2006 195/50/16 will probably b clearing the bananaleaf and not scratch the tyre when u turn, but check that your rim offset is correct type.

mihainiculae92 Neutral Newbie October 23, 2017 Share October 23, 2017 Hi, Since I don't have the permission to post a new topic I will write here, I hope the topic owner will not mind. I bought a new set of alloy rims for my car for the winter season, yesterday I fitted them and I observed a small gap between the rim and brake disc ( see the pictures attached). Will this gap cause any problems? It is normal? The rims are similar from the point of E.T PCD, HUB diameter etc. What I thinks is that the bore (brown part) is a little bit too long and hits the green part (green part on the diagram) I took the car for a spin and i didin't feel any strange behavior (vibrations or oscilations) I fear not the shear the bolts... Roberttan 5th Gear October 24, 2017 Share October 24, 2017 Dear 92, it is alright to have those gap there it is probably caused by your wheel hub(back) had little chamfered edged should you have any doubt I am sure you can go back to the shop seller for clarification
