FC for old swift

Hi guys/gals,

 

Just got a new SSS for 1 week. Been monitoring FC. Morning 10.3km/l with slow traffic on road and highway. Evening/night on highway about 11.3km/l

 

A/C, Radio, GPS on. No mods yet. Fuel Shell V Power.

 

I am considering to changing to ligher rims (maybe SSR or Enkei 16")

 

About 1000km and will be going for first servicing tomorrow.

 

I don't rev. Always driving between 60-80km on roads and 90-100km on highways. On road is 60% and highway 40% per week.

 

I am curious how to achieve 13 or 14km/l like what some of you had mentioned:)

i totally cant achieve 12km/l too, im having 10.8 now. best was 11.4 while traveling mostly on highway.

I thought 10-11 is normal for sss... if 12-13 should be for normal ss...

I've just done my SERVICING at 59000+KM with Following Items:

1. 5 / 40W Engine Oil

2. ATF Oil Changed

3. Coolant FLUSHED & TOP-UP

4. DENSO IRIDIUM Spark Plug IK20

2007 AUG 2nd Hand 1.3A Swift.....

 

Currently @ 1/2 Tank hit 190KM.....

Petrol Empty Tank Check light at 345KM with 33Litres Full Tank Petrol....

 

Is it normal???

ur car got problem cos ur FC worst then my SSS lolx..my FC is btw 10-13 depending on how i drive...i think u better bring down to ur workshop to check.

For swift 1.5M is between 13 to 14km/L. This is a 5+ yrs old car somemore.

Only managed to achieve 11.6 so far.. How did u guys did that?

me 1.3M FC 13 - 13.5/L

Here's mine:

 

1.5A

6 years old

FC averages 13 km/l

Driving 80% highway

Using SPC Levo 95
