Kaiserdome 1st Gear February 25, 2006 Share February 25, 2006 Add a machine and some nice polish compound? With the existing resources, it has got to be 3M Scratch remover --> AIO --> SG --> Spray wax in between wash. However I think the amount of scratches and swirls the 3M Scratch remover can eliminate is rather minimal.

Ivan96935sg Neutral Newbie February 25, 2006 Share February 25, 2006 My take is to pm Gen2 cos his works is superb to me......although I've yet to try it out personally. I'll try him out one day if possible.....soon very soon cos swirl marks very obvious under strong lights.....
Kaiserdome 1st Gear February 25, 2006 Share February 25, 2006 How effective is the 3M Scratch Remover on the scratches on ur ride bro? U can also try Meguair's Scratch-X by hand. IMHO, light and fine scratches and swirls still possible to remove by hand. However more serious ones certainly need a machine to get rid of them more effectively. Fcw75 Hypersonic February 25, 2006 Share February 25, 2006 Water marks are very hard to remove. I'm going to spray a new coat of paint on my black roof and bonnet soon. Easy way out...

Gen2 Neutral Newbie February 26, 2006 Share February 26, 2006 Hi bro, I'm afraid you are not going to get much result with 3M scratch remover to deal with the water etched marks, scratches (unless very light scratches) or the swirls on your car. Like wat bro Kaiserdome has mentioned, you can try using ScratchX to deal with the light scratches and swirls but to effectively remove these defect, you will need a machine with some polish or compound. Hope this helps . ↡ Advertisement
