Anyone know where can install electric mirrors?

Hi,

 

I realise the version of vitz that I am getting is manual mirror adjustment.

 

As the car is shared among the family member, I was thinking whether or not can add one of our own since vitz do have such option available.

 

Any bro know where can get?

Any one knows where I can install electric folding mirror for Toyota cars? Also purchase of the small panel that combines folding and adjustment of mirror for Toyota. Hopefully the panel is standard size...

If yr car use manual mirrors then to convert u need to run all e wiring n switches which is quite difficult.

 

If u get a local shop to do it make sure ty know what ty r doing otherwise ty screwup yr electrics n u get more problems than u solve.

U can try to get fm scrapyard n see if it fits n compatable. S.yard can help u to install sometimes.

Thanks for the heads up, I will check whether if it's a big job before I proceed. In MY, this car comes with electric folding mirror, but in SG, we pay more and yet receive less....

So u just want e extra folding function right?

 

Not so necessary lah. I hv it but hardly ever use.

 

Oh n i think u need to change both mirrors cos motors n mechanicals wil b different. Like that new mirrors damm ex plus u need to paint.

 

If u lucky scrapyard might hv but u need to chk if got folding function.

 

Last time i bought a pair elect mirror without folding fr $100 fm s.yard. Spray n install free when i did some spraying when my car kenna bang fm behind.

I just found it on another forum, they manage to find it, original Toyota, motor alone cost $700 USD, the auto folding fuction $150 USD....

 

 

Would be nice to have when I park parallel which I often do, but I think with such a price, I rather use my hand....

See if s.yards can help cos their parts all fm japan cars.

 

Last time i pay only $100 a pair but no folding. Wh folding maybe slightly more.
