Hey guys.

Is there such a product that we can buy off shelf ? My objective is get one and put it at home so I can clean my air-filter.

Any idea where and how much it cost?

Hi! there, Cool,

It would be too expensive just to get a mini air compressor for blowing air filter. I'd wanted to get one for my work, i.e. clean computers. I went to a few shops at Jln Besar, for under S$500, you can get a motorised comp. that's small enough to carry. There are electric ones which are silent, but cost up to S$900.

In the end, I didn't get any, I'd just bring my stuff to my customer's w/shop and use their air lines.

Hi! there, Cool,

I'm doing computer hardware, not too many headaches compare to software. Yesterday, while installing my front anti-roll bar, added loads of cursing & swearing, manage to do it. FYI, never, ever work on your car when you have a bad hangover. In a while, I'll be going over to JB, to my mechanic to install the rear anti-roll bar.

Hi! there, Cool,

I'm driving an Alfa Romeo 75 TwinSpark, it comes with everything, so can use on race track. It doesn't have a TC though, but very easy for DIY maintenance.

If you install anti-roll bars, get a set for front & back, handling will improve, but beware of the limit in traction. Unlike other cars, the Alfa's suspension will not change it's character, unless you choose to ignore the warning given. Driven by an average person, the Alfa will seldom reach the limits of the suspension performance.

IMHO.....I think you change your filter every 20,000km....still cheaper to replace the filter than to buy a compressor for that purpose.

Or you can ask your mechanic to blow it for you when you are servicing your car.

Next you can consider those aftermarket filter like K&N or HKS.....K&N has a kit for cleaning the filter and cost like 15 bucks for it........you can clean your filter once every year....and the set can last you like 3-4 yrs liao. (Both the cleaner and oil)

For the HKS....the filter is not servicable and you have to dispose it once it is dirty....I am trying one now and my guess is that it should last at least 1 year......but some of the fellow user of the HKS foam replacement filter said can last 80,000km.... [:)]
