Comparing Mobil One Gold Engine Oil & Amsoil Engine Oil!

I am currently using the Mobil One Gold bottle Engine oil for my car, I heard the Amsoil Engine oil also not bad but just don't know what is the difference between the Mobil One Gold and Amsoil, anyone knows?

bros in the house...anyone know whether MCF is still selling the Amsoil oil?

me waiting and waiting...but the website seems not working leh....

always show and internal error message when i submit the order form...admins???

Our apologies Cyrix, the upcoming shipment of AMSOIL is due to arrive end Aug and we shall start distribution first week Sept.

AMSOIL can be used for all gasoline cars, select the oil grade as recommended in your owner's manual.

 

Diesel & Industrial products are available as well based on special order. [;)]

what is the difference between the 10w40, 10w30 and 5w30 oil when it is sold at the same price?? i have ordered the amsoil oil, may i know if there is still stock and how will i get a notification? Thanks very much

In general, for newer cars you would want to follow the manufacturer's recommended visocity (e.g. 5W30) as stated in the manual. For older or neglected engines a thicker oil (e.g. 10W40) might help keep leaks at bay and lessen oil burning due to worn piston rings in the engine.
