Calling all bros,

have a few questions about shaving off the emblems on the exterior of the ride:

1) What tools to use for shaving?

2) What chemicals to use to remove the residue of the sticky stuff after shaving?

3) Is there a need to polish the surface after shaving?

Bro..

this is how you do

What you need:

1. Dental Floss

2. Turpintine / Or Polish

3. Soap or Mama Lemon (better)

Steps:

1. Wet your emblem with Mama Lemon

2. Use dental flow and start to floss the emblem by pulling inwards up down method

3. The emblem will drop off

4. Use Polish to remove the glue residue.. if cannot use turpintine

5. Dry it

6. Sealent the area or better still, wax your entire car

7. Buy Cool a coke.

regards,

You'll definitely have to polish/wax your car again once you've used mama lemon or any dishwashing liquid on it...the original polish/wax would have been taken off liao. sweatdrop.gif

Actually, you don't need mama lemon or other detergents as they may spoil your paint. Just get an adhesive remover such as "GooGone" from hardware store, apply to the emblems and let it soak a while, don't be stingy with the remover, but ensure it does not touch plastic...use dental floss to floss it out.

If there are residue, just use a soft polishing cloth, dab it with the adhesive remover and wipe over it, slowly removing it. After that, wax the area for shine [thumbsup]
