No matter how to change, IMO nissan always emphasize on showy and luxurious, but less effort on improve fuel efficiency and engine performance [shakehead] , they should learn Toyota and Honda [hur][hur],otherwise they will lose more market [thumbsdown]

Camry 2.0 is even more sluggish than Cedfiro 2.0.

Camry is assembled in Thailand yet its selling price uis eth same at the Japan made and assembled Cefiro.

Simple common sense tells you the Cefiro is a better buy.

Thoee good old days of your trust worthy Toyotas are gone.

Look at the built of the Vios and Altis and you will know.

There is a difference between actual good quality and perception of good quality.

Many perceive Toyota to be good value and trustworthy. This is what they believe, but whether Toyota can live it up to the buyer's perception is another issue altogether.

Well for power i think its a "been there done that" for nissan. The GTR has to be the most legendary japanese sports car both on and off the track. The only car that can rival the GTR would have to be the FD rx7, and hon and toy have nothing to match. Closest would be the s2000 and supra, but although both good, netiher comes close to the legends that are the GTR and RX7...

Frankly, I always like the exterior design of this Cefiro nod.gif but there again, I very much dislike the interior.....particularly the wood colourshakehead.gif not my cup of teatongue.gif

Agree.

Even the rims, aircon and leather of the Cefiro is fitted in Japan.

This translates to higher OMV for the Cefiro.

Borneo Mtrs is shooting themselves in the own foot by raising prices and loosing thath competitive edge.

Altis, Vios and even Camry are bread and butter cars catering to the mass, and has different marketing niche, unlike Mercedes, BMW or Lexus that carries snob appeal, and attracts the higher end of the market who are not as price sensitive.

Cefiro uses REAL wood, not those plastic wood look alike materials .

How about the FC? because sunny represents a bad example for Nissan, once glance at Nissan, it=sunny [kiss]

Altis 1.6A with 12km/l on average is no big deal either. On par with other 1.6l cars like Lancer using SOHC engine with no VVTI frills.

And Altis costs S$10K more than Lancer. Even if Lancer drinks more, this savings in purchase price covers up for it.

Gone are the days of the G9 Corolla with 15km//l mileage.

Dude...with the amount of ppl flocking down to buy toyotas (great demand) the dealer will definately capitalise on it.

Its only when demand drops will the price drop...which i don't think will be the case at least in the near future. [:)]

Neutral Newbie

i wouldnt consider their 2.3l v6 with 173hp and 225nm weak as compared to its rivals from honda and toyota that uses a 2.4l inline 4s that are weaker. FC has dramatically improved over the 20g as well.
