are there velcro meant for sticking on to 1) plastic panels, 2) car seat fabric?

i'm planning to suspend some crossovers on velcro, and to anchor sub / amp too. somehow my installer said his velcro doesn't stick on plastic panel and car seat fabric! strange.

where would be a good place to shop around for velcro of different designs? since my installer doesnt stick for me, i gotta go get something that sticks myself ... Sim Lim? or .. ?

i'm not sticking up an amp, i'm just using the velcro to anchor the amp to the plastic floor board otherwise when car turn it can slide. same goes for my sub box too. i'm only dangling my crossovers up on my seat fabric, so that one gotta use a nice big piece of velcro.

aiyo why you install until like that? [dizzy] still planning to experiment with placing is it? if not shld have ask your installer to mount on the seat back or something, and stuff the x-over under the seat or something.... try to buy 1 piece of those 3M car mat to cover your boot floor, shld minimize the sliding.

ah yesh yesh thanks furrynadz that's the sticky velcro i was looking for, to stick my sub box down to plastic boot floor. i'm not going for carpet cos.. partly budget lah, carpet still die die $30+, partly want to have minimal stuff around - even carpet wun sit still forever, can still fold/crumple but velcro wont. hopefully can stick on thin seat fabric too, to stick crossover.

true. i got $5 for about 30-40cm at army market. if can be pulled off, but it's enough to stick a sub down to the plastic boot with 3 strips. it serves its purpose at a cheap price. the 3M one i saw is a smaller roll for a higher price. looks good but ...... $$$

well i may have to resort to using 3M cos i need some sticky thing (double-sided tape, not velcro) to secure a plastic fuse box in the engine compartment. this one better secure strongly so i think have to look for 3M liao ...
