Heynsl Clutched February 8, 2006 Share February 8, 2006 Hi, I have just bought a set of Klasse Starter Kit... Can anyone here advise me how to use it correctly? The guy told me to get rid of my current car wax (meguire) using the AIO and then apply the sealent before applying wax (meguire) on top of it and not the other way round... is that true? also what kind of car shampoo should i use to wash the car with? those clearcoat free one or those with wax one that selling in petrol kiosk? ↡ Advertisement

Heynsl Clutched February 8, 2006 Author Share February 8, 2006 how about claybar??? this procedure is it necessary? if so, where shall i insert it in?
Kaiserdome 1st Gear February 8, 2006 Share February 8, 2006 If u wan to claybar (which is optional IMHO), then: Shampoo --> Claybar --> Rinse & Dry --> AIO --> SG(12hrs) --> SG(12hrs) --> SG(12hrs) --> Wax as LSP (Last Step Product)
Marcostan 4th Gear February 8, 2006 Share February 8, 2006 Heynsl, Why wax, it's not nesscessary, take a look after 3-4 layers of sealent and if u dun like then wax. IMO, sealent alone is looked great MarcosTan Toyota Rav4
Ixat 1st Gear February 10, 2006 Share February 10, 2006 Got some articles on how to do it right. But what to look out for while applyin AIO and SG? Any signs that we're doing it wrongly, and what to avoid? Thanks!
Kaiserdome 1st Gear February 10, 2006 Share February 10, 2006 I think this is an excellent article. http://www.superiorcarcare.net/klasse-application-guide.html The sticky thread abt AIO is another good one.
Ixat 1st Gear February 11, 2006 Share February 11, 2006 Thanks for the article. I got some questions and would like to ask. After I work the AIO into the paintwork with an applicator pad, I should still use the MF and give it a wipe? Or if i work it in le, then there is no need too? Also if I find water marks on the car, I should remove with swirl remover first or will AIO remove it also? Thanks
Kaiserdome 1st Gear February 11, 2006 Share February 11, 2006 After applying AIO, we need to buff off with a MF cloth. I usually do the WOWO (Wipe on Wipe off) method. Always remember to apply a very thin layer. The thinner the better I think it would be good to use a swirl remover to polish first before using AIO. I usually use scratch-x to remove mild swirls and scratches before using AIO.
Elvi_76 Neutral Newbie February 13, 2006 Share February 13, 2006 How do u use the swirl remover? As in, oso wipe straight on and wipe straight off or in circular motion? Any recommendations? I am tinking of getting the 3M Swirl Removal

Heynsl Clutched February 17, 2006 Author Share February 17, 2006 a few questions to ask... 1. do u use Scratch-X before or after washing car with shampoo? 2. also in using AIO, after we apply AIO to the car, should we wash once more with shampoo or just water before applying the sealent? 3. how about the MF cloth when applying AIO or sealent, should it be damp or dry? 4. can we apply OCW on top of the Klasse sealant? Gen2 Neutral Newbie February 17, 2006 Share February 17, 2006 1. do u use Scratch-X before or after washing car with shampoo? Use ScratchX after washing car with shampoo. 2. also in using AIO, after we apply AIO to the car, should we wash once more with shampoo or just water before applying the sealent? After application and removal of AIO, go straight to SG, there's no need to wash the car again. 3. how about the MF cloth when applying AIO or sealent, should it be damp or dry? I would use either the MF applicator or the Meguiar applicator pad to apply AIO or SG and usually I use dry applicator pad. 4. can we apply OCW on top of the Klasse sealant? Yes, but do it 12-24 hours later after you have applied SG.
