Huggable Clutched April 7, 2003 Share April 7, 2003 Yeah I had the rims resprayed and learnt a few lessons. For one, get the shop to clear coat the rims on top of baking them. This offers better protection. Mine was baked only. Also, minor chips are scratches are common, especially when the mechanic needs to rotate the tyres, and remove/add new weights. I had my tyres changed recently, and that was the worst heartache! Parts of the paint on the rim came off, due the the fact that the tyres were stucked the rims after 1 year of usage!
