My TB get dirty very quickly because i'm using diy foam(oiled) filter. Yah if i clean my TB, it went up again to around 800rpm but i still like 400rpm, so quiet feel like car didn't start like that. [laugh]

I think high chances its your throttle body, clean it and you will solve your rpm problem.

Yah thats what i thought also. My idling is about 650rpm to as low as 550rpm..cannot stand the vibrations man!! So going to try clean out my throttle body tmr and hopefully that works!

You need to check all your vacuum lines and make sure there isn't a leak somewhere. If you are using an after mkt fuel pressure regulator (FPR) check to see if the adjusting knob came loose and check your fuel pressure while the car is at idle with the vacuum line to your intake manifold pinched.

Those are some things that can cause irregular idles.

What kind of car are you driving? Carburator and injection engines have different ways of remedies too.

Am driving a rav4 but i think its a common problem amongst my ride from what i heard. Just cleaned out the TB and the ECU is still adjusting to it. Was also told that vibrations could be cause by the engine mounting over time. Think thats another point to take note.

Too low idle puts alot of strain on the engine as it's not made to idle so low.

The owners manual gives u what is recommended for your engine type.

Try to get as close to it as possible. If u get vibrations, adjust it up or down a little to solve it but not too much. Remember adjustments sud b done with all accessories off & engine warm.

If your mounts r still new, sud have little vibs, but does not mean it's OK. The mounts r absorbing all the vibs. Puts unnecessary stress on them.

FC during idle is very small. Won't make much diff to your wallet.
