Which car are you talking about now. Please be clear. This thread is VTi-S against an FD 1.8 and also in discussion is a Forester turbo and a modded V40.

Which also explains why I am asking all those talking about the latter two start posting on the other thread! mad.gif Want to drift don't drift into other people's thread! Have some respect for Kelpie!

I know what you are coming from, Kelpie.

S$57K for that 10/'04 1668cc Civic VTI-S or the brand new Civic 1.8 @ S$72K.

We are talking about S$5.3K annual dep for the VTI-S vs S$6.2K annual dep for the FD 1.8

Of course the FD1.8 is more powerful, but personally I prefer the ES series looks - looks that last.

If you must get teh FD 1.8...... Good also to let Honda Japan iron out whatever glitches that the FD 1.8 has. Let the first few batches of car buyers be the genie pig first.

1. I'm not quite sure whether the difference in performance is significant. I thought VTI-S is 1.7 DOHC VTEC. Someone told me VTI-S is also a SOHC. Can someone clarify this. Thanks.

2. Other more significant exterior different will be that VTI-S has sunroof and FD 1.8 doesn't have one.

Regards,

So they prgressed from E something to F something for the codes.

The last batch of 5Dr 1.7L Civic frm the PI are called the EU. I guess they haf more or less run out of alphabets for E so proceed to F. Just my guesses. I mayb wrong.

I dunno. All I know is that in that "fastest ride of MCF" thread, he posted impressive specs as a sig (devious of him). Lordalfa challenge those specs with a post. His specs disappeared from the sig and he retorted with a PS'd parody of Lordalfa's ride.

Someone sure likes to masturbate in the forums and when can't deliver has to hide. Typical of a Charlie Wenzel.

wow...my siggy is the power siggy that changes every 24 hours guys....it changed again ...wow weee

Gadgeter and the mods are already lamenting on the quality of some discussions. Its these people/clones that are making things bad. Want to talk c0ck, be 4sshole or color wolf best go for meetups is best. laugh.gif At least we know you are talking c0ck and all that in meetups. It is hard to see that in forums whether your sig says you are joking or not.

Anyway, enough! Talk about this somewhere.

oh ok ...Dear Mr. Kelpie with regards to your very insipiring question i would strongly believe that an FD1.8 will be of better performance than a little VTI .....s. Thank you ..very much.
