Mine from McWell got screeching sound . Fed-up, got another set from a forum advertiser. Served me well until car scrapped.

You meant coefficient of friction? That I don't know but Mintex manufactures a few different ranges of pads so I guess the 'friction rating' depends on which line of pads you choose.

Heard Ferodo pads are metallic compound. It's good but cleaning the brake dust will be a nightmare. I'm not sure if Ferodo make pads for my fat X-Trail.
