coilover is a full set of suspension include the absorber and spring which is custom made

to suit each other...will be more safer and also some of them the damping and height can be adjust...popular brands are koni,tein..etc...

was told changing a Coilover is better than just changing the Springs or absorber only rite...lest the coil over is suited for one another.. able to get wht u want.

its not about speeding... its the grip tats important.

some (comfort)tyres when going at only 80/90 ran over a pool of water it skids...i kana before i know... and its not wear...

i'm using taiwan's HangKang c/w aquaplane threading....bought during offers at Autobacc. Slightly noisier but good enough during wet weathers. Used more than a year already.

I will try to ans some of your questions here. Hope it helps you.

 

1) How does lowering your ride help? Better FC? More stable? More powerful?

Ans: Lowered your ride will make your car slightly more aero-dynamic, which will cause lesser wind drag. Lowering of your ride will not more it more powerful nor stable. You will have to make the spring harder too, this will make you car more stable when cornering. At least your body will not move about in your seat when you do hard cornering.

 

2) Bigger rims more stable but more FC and suffer from picking up right?

Ans:Bigger rims doesn't mean more FC and slower pick-up. Unless you have a tight budget and go for the cheap heavy rims, otherwise, your FC and pick-up will not suffer much. Bigger rims does offer more stability. Pls take note that bigger tires are more expensive too.

 

3) Spoilers helps to lower CG of car, means more stable also right?

Ans: Spoiler will not lower the CG of the car, but will help to push down the butt of your car when you are driving high speed. This is to prevent your car backside from lifting up due to high speed driving.

Can't help much in FC and power.

Smaller centrifugal, lower G-force, better stable.

- Lowering : Look like race car ..feel like race car ...increase ego bhp by 10

Sorry, my mistake. 13.5cm from spec data. I lower 4.5cm. become 9.5cm.
