Mousee7 Neutral Newbie December 25, 2005 Share December 25, 2005 Hi there, Maybe i can give you some feedback becos im driving a 3 yr old vios (auto) now and soon to be changing to a lancer (auto). The reason for changing is cos the vios is getting too cramped for fetching my family of 4 + granny around during wkends plus I 'gian' to change . Despite that, i have good things to say about the vios becos in terms of FC, i believe it is still better than Lancer (not too sure abt manual). Interior wise, both about the same in terms of styling imho, just that leg and hip room lancer wins handsdown. There seems to be too many vios on the road so perhaps a lancer will draw a second look from other drivers. I find my vios relability to be very high as no problems at all for these 3 yrs and I find it a fun ride to drive. Plus the engine is VVTI (DOHC) compared to lancer's CVT (SOHC) which is older tech. Crv2004 Clutched December 25, 2005 Author Share December 25, 2005 I personnel do think that Vios interior really because the speedometer and the display looks very ugly, but the problem is that vios got better fuel efficiency. My brother lloksing for both manual version . What fuel efficiency you can achieve on the vios auto and what RPM do you change gear at ???? And how much is the mininum PARF of the vios and the lancer ??? Can PM me . But of course, some pple find FC more impt or practical as they clock alot of mileage daily. Tink there's already some discussion about Lancer vs Vios. Do a search if u wan more info Cheers. (Both Manual ) Most important is 1) fuel consumption 2)looks 3) interior Thanks for the help bro I think Vios (M) 0-100km/h is 9.6sec! Damn good for a 1.5L where everyone else is 12 - 13+ sec. And the engine and gearbox matching is much better than Altis', thus the fuel efficiency. You get an additional airbag (worth $2000+) and 4 disc brakes too.
