Illuminated Bonnet

Got this off another forum....

 

"Ok ok ok, maybe not the mother of all bonnets, but I just wanted to show what we did to my Wizard for the Max Power show last weekend. We have devised a way to layer fibre optic cables into the moulding process of a Carbon Fibre/Fibre Glass bonnet, Stencil effect the paintwork to match in with the existing colour scheme with the fibre optic lighting coming through in the stenciled areas. The whole system uses a 150w halogen bulb running on a 12v supply, the projected light passes through a spinning colour wheel built inside the projector and then up the side emitting fibre optic cables. The whole panel changes colour through the whole spectrum continously or you can stop it on a colour of your choice. These photos aren't that good as it was displayed under show lighting, but you can imagine the effect in the dark. What ya think?"

Well, I think it should apply to all makes and model ya... ...

very high chances of it being classified as illegal mods (under Decorative Lamps category)..unless u are participating in National Day or Chingay procession..

 

if allow, can consider choosing red cross emblem..people might give way to you cause they think ambulance coming..

otherwise can consider a big d*ck design on your bonnet as people will also give way to you too... imagine u are driving and from the rear mirror, u see a big d*ck coming nearer and nearer towards you.. if u dont 'siam', your 'back' will be screwed..

Unless it's a showcar? Recent competitions held locally, the cars present....big disappointment.... cars competing lacked innovation as compared to those abroad say Hot Import Nights, Max Power... and of 'cos .... Pimp my ride....

 

Cars are overpriced here, hence the lack of funds and invention for such mods
