Twnll 1st Gear December 18, 2005 Share December 18, 2005 What's wrong with yr aircon? Air blow strong but air not as cold as b4? Aircon gas topup. Air not blowing strongly and not cold as well. Aircon filter clogged, need to replace. All else is big $$$. I changed my first aircon filter at 150k!!! I think 50k - 60k intervals should be good maintainance schedule. Familymanz 3rd Gear December 18, 2005 Author Share December 18, 2005 1st Aircon filter @ 150K I change every 10~15K.... actually recommended is every 3~6mths..... When i took out mine after 12K(abt 1yr).... Im nearly puke when I see all the "Ling Zhi" aka mold on the filter..... its then I decide to change @ regular interval..... Limbhuat Neutral Newbie December 18, 2005 Share December 18, 2005 Hi there if you are thinking of just changing the filters....DIY. The placement cost about $25 to $40 depending on your model and the operation is simple. If you need to top up the gas, any kiosk will have that service. ITs quite cheap. Now if you need to remove some odour or smell, then you may want to try tuffi at Sin Ming. Its abt $55 for a complete foam flush for all the blower pipings. Will smell fresh after that. Any way Markcool is great if you really need to service the aircon. I have been there since 97.... Good air con people. Have a cool Christmas.... B1ackie Neutral Newbie December 18, 2005 Share December 18, 2005 Try Riverview Auto. Look for Vincent or Ah Liang (www.riverviewauto.com.sg) No just the gas or filter, there is compressor oil too!

Limbhuat Neutral Newbie December 20, 2005 Share December 20, 2005 Bro the air con is one of the most neglected item in the car that seldoms get any attention. The air we breath in when we are driving is solely dependent on the air con system. A little effort and cost will do the driver and passenger a lot of good. Pamper the air con and yourself a little. Go for a proper air con servicing frequently...It sures feels good smelling the fresh air and healthily...
