Look at the wheels. Those are 14" 6J Offset +33 rims. The car is running in a rally! Do the rally masters know something we don't know? I went to a Dutch racing parts website and they are selling these rally spec wheels. Any reason why they chose 14" over 15" wheels?

Just wondering why they use ET33 14" rims. The Kalos Sport uses ET38 15" rims.

I guess it has to do with rough surfaces. The 14" are better as an all rounder and the 15" are the tarmac rims.

My take is it's due to better handling with the 14"ers.

yes, road holding seems to be better on long straight roads with 15"ers but 14"ers make better corner turning.

I have been looking at most of the WRC cars, their tires are mostly higher profile than the average local zhng cars and American pimped cars.

The Europeans do know what it takes to handle B roads. The most popular tire in UK is the 185/60-14.

Sets me thinking. Drivers frequenting Malaysia should keep to the stock 185/60-14 tires.
