Anyone done grounding for Lancer GDI 1.5?

I am still deciding whether to do it for my car. I heard that grounding is only effective for the 1.6 CVT and not the 1.5 GDI, due to its more complicated ECU and engine electronics.

 

Wonder whether anyone can share their field reports on this mod.
