I got pxx xxxg in AMK. But that place very busy with people. Another thing they only do balancing no alignment. U can call Justin from pxx xxxg(98368640). He will take your new rims and tyre.

But then can Optra fit in 16"??

we own an Optra sedan & my hubby fitted it with 17" so i think 16" is not an issue.

I just got a quote for 14" rims and tires for $450. The rims are taiwan make and tires made in Japan Yokohama ones. Is this a good deal??

I trade in my old 14" rims and new 13" tires.

Nope that's market rate.

Below is based from my estimation.

Trade-in price for old 14" + 13"Tyres = $100 + $120($30 ea)

New tyres = $80 x 4 = $320

New rims = $90 x 4 = $360

New rims + tyres = $680

Trade-in price = $680 - 220 = $460(very closed to $450)

Do you think it's cheap?

to me i consider [thumbsdown] trade-in old 14" just to get new 13" plus topup $460 [sweatdrop][sweatdrop]

Hi,

I am getting my new chevrolet optra very soon. I thought of upgrading to 16 inch rims

I want to trade in my new 14 inch rims and tyres. Can anyone tell how much is it worth

of the 14 inch rims plus tyres. I thought of $500... Can anyone advise?

Worth abt <$200 only provided u drive straight to the tire shop when u collect your car.

Hello,

I am also thinking of changing my rims. Currently on 14' stock rims from Kia. Is there such a thing as a 14' sports rim/tyre with very good FC+noise insulation?

14" = good FC.. For most cases, the bigger the rims, the worst the FC..

For noise level, depend on which tyre you use.. For Japanese and Korean cars, the insulation isn't very good, so does not make much differences if you travel at higher speed..

14" sports rims u can get at any decent tyre shop.

For decent & quiet tires, u can try Bridgestone GR80. If u got the budget, go for Michelin XM1. They r about as quiet but have a much better wet/dry grip & very long lasting.
