Silver_blade Turbocharged November 21, 2005 Share November 21, 2005 Stick to your car manufacturer's recommendation. It's stated in your driver's instruction manual.
Mzrmazda3 6th Gear November 22, 2005 Share November 22, 2005 Congrats to your new ride Depending on makes, the first servicing is either at 1K or 5K for Jap cars but your manual should have stated it For run in distance is about 1K while at this period of time, you'll try to hover your rpm not exceeding 3K Happy running in your engine

Jnetjnjn Neutral Newbie November 22, 2005 Share November 22, 2005 Hi, guys. Need some advice here. I was driving home today & i stopped at the lights. Suddenly, I felt the engine jerk a little as if about to stall & then, it was ok again. It happened really fast & short though & also, first time I felt this. What could be the cause of it? Hopefully nothing major to fix. Help...

Jnetjnjn Neutral Newbie November 22, 2005 Share November 22, 2005 Actually, my previous ride (Hyundai Accent) had quite similar problem but the engine & rpm needle jerked quite constantly. Later found out that it was the spark plug cables that needed replacing. That's why now I tend to be quite sensitive to slight jerks.
