Anabolic 1st Gear November 12, 2013 Share November 12, 2013 I've been too late on this thread! Been driving a 300c for just over a year! Great driving experience. Surprisingly I get 7-8km a litre in mixed driving conditions. This is on 22 inch rims, so I'm sure a 9-10km/litre mileage is doable! For the rest of the owners, could you recommend any workshops for servicing? I've brought it to my own workshop but it was nowhere near as smooth as AD servicing. Keep truckin'! Thinthin Neutral Newbie November 18, 2013 Share November 18, 2013 i have owned the 300C for 2 years now , consumption is heavy , 6 litre/km , vehicle is heavy . Ride is reasonably comfortable , tho a little bumpy , maybe the tyres are over pressure ... build quality is not so good ..... door handle plastic come off , Engine dipstick handle breaks easily, got stuck in the oil sump , door trimming show signs of warpages . cosmetic items are cheap on-line tho , most are made in China , hence , quality is also poorer . on the whole , this car has a simple but powerful engine . with very simple gadgets hence lesser maintenance . things to watch out : under carriage armature , auto gear box Seats 5 comfortably , smooth ride , parts from local can be quite costly as stocks are scares . i usually buy on-line Thumbs up for it's grand good looks and its super size ! Fits guys like me ( 1.83m ) Some say its a Mafia's / Yakuza 's ride .... typically in Black ( fierce look ) ................... If you can stand the road tax , insurance , and running cost , this Car is cool for all seasons . ( does not seem to be out dated )
RatedRRicky Clutched November 18, 2014 Share November 18, 2014 (edited) Hi, I changed from a Honda Accord CP1 (Inspire) to a Chrysler 300C 06 model - 3,5L. Just to share the feeling is extremely different. The Accord is good in interior and it will somehow turn heads too especially with a bidded registration veh number, BUT the Chrysler is totally another level ! You will simply seek attention everywhere on the roads. No offence, it sexually arouses the kinder gender, thats what I got some teasing remarks from my female friends. People like to call it a monster car because of the size. Of course the Hemi or the SRT8 version can make everyone high by its throaty engine roar. Interior could be better but it pales in comparison to the feel of your car's presence on the roads, u feel it from the outside and the public. If you want attention, this car can do the job. Motivates you to be a gentleman driver, car is so big, just let those flying guppies tailgate or cut your lane. You can simply just yawn and focus on your own journey peacefully - no offence to anyone offended again - sorry. But its the selling point ! The fuel may disappoint you, but if you are someone who is planned and focused and seldom roam around for no reason. You should not worry about fuel and act as a real owner of a big american muscle ! Lastly, of course, choose the right color and divert away from the Taxi. Edited November 18, 2014 by RatedRRicky ↡ Advertisement
