OCW [Wonder Wax from Gen2]

It is a stand alone sealant wax. Manufacturer claims 5 months protection and professional detailers in US claimed 2-3 months on a daily driven car. Since it is a sealant and carnauba blend, it gives the shine and protection of a synthetic sealant and the warm and wet look of a carnauba.

Hmm, sounds interesting since OCW is a spray wax.

 

1. So can I say its better than the NXT? Since NXT claims its also a sealant cum wax. I know NXT looks good but not very lasting cos I'm using it currently.

 

2. Spray waxes are mostly liquid form and could they be so durable? I always tot layering a pure carnuaba over would give it an extra ooomph. No?

For testing purpose, I have applied OCW and a new acrylic spray sealant from US on my bonnet and now both products are on my bonnet for 3 weeks liao. Both still looks good, the feel is relatively smooth and the water is still beading. As you know for the past 3 weeks it has been raining on and off (my place is an open carpark) and I also have washed the car 3 times with car shampoo in between.

So I would say it is pretty durable and in fact NXT or even some carnauba products don even come close to this.

well zaino's in liquid form too mah and it's quite durable than some hard paste wax

so whether liquid or solid shouldn't be an indicator for durability
