Yc86 Clutched November 17, 2005 Share November 17, 2005 (edited) argghhh.... parked my car yesterday evening and left the sun roof open by mistake (just raised it, didn't slide it).. then it rained very heavily later and about 30mins later... i felt weird and realised that i forgot to close it and quickly ran to the car.. but it was too late.. there were puddles of water on both seats.. and the carpeted floor which already kinda stinks were wet... the rear was also wet and the cloth i put behind all stinks.. tried to air it today.. scared mould n bacteria will grow in the carpeting.. then stink up the whole car... how? Odyssey02 Clutched November 29, 2005 Share November 29, 2005 try the fridge deodorizers at ntuc. $7 for one. very good stuff. i put one in my ody. keeps the new car smell. and like all jap stuff, it has ANTI-BACTERIAL properties. you better get your carpets dried properly. my old merc rusted cuz i drove through a flood and water came in supposedly. Yc86 Clutched November 29, 2005 Author Share November 29, 2005 yup... dried.. i took out the rear seats to dry.. n never put them back again took out the rear foot carpet, and threw away. and vacuumed the carpet under the mat. was surprised when i removed the mats, the bottom was still wet. and popped a thirsty hippo inside.. dunno if it'll compare to the jap brand.. but that's all i hav.. run out of charcol also. also put a lemon smell thingy... haha. now, quite okay liao thanx ppl~ Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
