Anyone knows what happened to the Upp Thomson Caltex car wash? How come suddenly close down without giving prior notice? So only left the Nee Soon branch? I still have coupons with me. Anyone in the same fate as me?

that group of washers collect season washing fee of something like $50 for 10 washes per month or somethg like that. They asked me once. Think they took the $$ n run back to Marngkarlah?

I am in the same situation as you. Bought extra 50 coupons 1 month ago now all become useless paper.

 

I am still looking for the office no. of the vendor. Think it's LKW automotive services. Will check the car decal the operator require us to stick on later to confirm.

 

Visited the Caltex opp Nee Soon camp. Give up after waiting for 5 mins. Only 3 or 4 men working. 4 cars in front of me & not moving at all. Must drive in for the car wash then reverse out, make a three point turn before u can leave the station.

 

U can email me to keep in touch. I have requested Car Inns (insurance agent) sharing the same office as the car wash operator for help. See if he respond or not.

 

Meanwhile ask maid to wash lor.

 

Like Tan Ah Teck says "what's the moral of the story?" Cheap things don't come good & good things are not cheap.

I also went to the Nee Soon one before, waited and gave up. Slow and totally waste of time. Yes, you're correct on the name. It's LKW Automotive Services.

 

It's plain cheating. About 1 month ago, they were actively trying to get people to buy more coupons, saying they'll increase to $100 each. Now they disappear. My wife and I did thought of lodging a complain to CASE.

 

Now I wanna know if there's anyway for us to refund those unused coupons. I'll keep in touch with you.

This is call Delivery vs payment risk. Just like those business man, if no pay cash , no deliver goods to the other party. Actually I dont use caltex one but just happen to be there one night to buy snacks. Then these washers ask me want to wasj or not and say if buy 'season ticket' cheaper. I see them like a bunch of freelance washers. Dont trust them
