I just bought a carwash membership for $50 at Caltex (Sembawang Road). It comes with 26 tickets that entitled to 26 manual car washes. That totalled up to only $1.9+ per wash. Bargain man. [jawdrop]

These tickets also can be used in Upper Thomson Road Caltex station.

Cheers,

Bro, talking about manual car wash in a detailing folder is kinda out of place. I dun think many bros/sistas who are mildly interested in detailing will contemplate sending his ride for manual car wash - no matter how cheap it is.

yeah man. Those malay young man good. Very detail sometimes, depending on when you are there. Generally, I find that Upp. Thomson one is better. More organised.

So far so good for my experience in manual wash. I guess mine ride is silver colour makes the difference also. Silver is not so obvious on minor scratches.

Hmm.. I suppose that could be true. Or maybe some bros may find that always polishing their waxing their swirl free ride is becoming no challenge. So they may decide to send their ride for 25+ manual rides and then get high on removing the swirls?? [laugh]

Just kidding 2.. [;)]

That is where you are wrong. If a place can do a pretty good car wash using soft cloths and seperate the cloths from different parts of the car, they should be supported.

You just have to see how they do it first.

Doubt will scratch the car but you'll get crazy swirl marks if you do that for long...

Not slamming petrol kiosk car wash, it's good enough for ppl who are really too busy.

But if really wanna take care of the car, i still think DIY is the way to go.

Just my 2cents!

I don't know of any place with this practice. The US forums on detailing do discuss car wash places and they are of very high standard. Different clothes for different car body parts.
